The Hospital of St. Mary's is receiving a $3.4-million government grant to expand its dialysis service. The project will allow the hospital to upgrade its facilities so it can better respond to current and future dialysis needs. The Programme involves tripling the space for the service. In addition, the number of dialysis machines will increase from 20 to 30, financed by the St. Mary's Hospital Foundation. Additional funds will be announced to cover the cost of furniture, general medical equipment and computer systems.
